A. Personal Profile Information

When you register for a Voyez account, we ask for verified identifying details. This ensures all interaction in discussion groups represents genuine constituency voters:

• Full Name & Username: Used to display your identity on your published posts and comments.
• Mobile Phone Number: Essential for identifying your account and verifying user profile registration details.
• Email Address: Used for transactional notifications and account recovery operations.
• Profile Picture: Optional upload to represent your profile within feed lists.
• Electoral Constituency Selection: Used to connect you with the appropriate elected representatives.

B. Activity and Engagement Content

We store content you voluntarily publish inside the app. This is necessary to construct your user feed, manage local complaints, and facilitate democratic discussions:

• Your submitted requests, requirements, and community complaints.
• Photos, audio files, links, or video content uploaded as attachments.
• Comments, replies, and like/share interactions on other users' feeds.
• Private or group chat messages exchanged inside the local secure chat feature.

Voyez does not sell your personal data. We utilize your collected information exclusively for the following operational and social engagement purposes:

• Bridging Voter-MLA Communication: Allowing MLAs to monitor, coordinate, and reply to specific complaints and requests raised in their respective state constituency.
• Abuse Detection & Content Moderation: Our automated AI-enabled system scans content for profane, illegal, or abusive inputs, automatically removing malignant posts to preserve community safety.
• Notifications & Alerts: Sending urgent alerts and updates from MLAs regarding ongoing development projects or critical local emergencies in your area.
• Application Performance: Troubleshooting errors, conducting system updates, and optimising local database configurations.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

Because Voyez acts as a public discussion forum and public audit platform, certain disclosures are vital:

• Public Forums: Any posts, comments, photos, or media you publish in general discussion feeds are fully public and visible to all registered users, including elected MLAs and administrative staff.
• Elected Representatives (MLAs): Your submitted complaints, profile details, and region are shared with the Member of the Legislative Assembly in your selected constituency to enable local resolution.
• Legal Compliance: We will disclose information if required under state or federal laws, regulatory directives, or formal police requests, specifically when trying to prevent acts of cybercrime, defamation, or localized unrest.
• Third-Party Infrastructure: We share push notification keys with delivery services (like Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple APNS) purely to dispatch system alerts to your device.

5. Data Security Measures

We treat database security with utmost importance. We implement physical, electronic, and administrative controls to protect your information:

• All API communication between the Voyez mobile app and our database servers is fully encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols.
• We conduct regular server audits and database updates to safeguard stored details from unauthorized intrusions or data leakage.

However, please be aware that no security system is 100% impenetrable. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute absolute security during transit over public wireless networks.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Under personal privacy rules, users retain full control and possess specific rights regarding their registered information:

• Access & Correction: You can edit your registered profile picture, email address, username, and constituency settings at any time directly in the Voyez mobile application.
• Opt-Out of Push Notifications: You can disable all push alerts and notification sounds directly in your smartphone's operating system settings.
• Revoking Consents: You can revoke permission to let the app access local media storage or camera by adjusting in-app permissions.

7. Account Deletion and Retention Policy

We retain your personal data and engagement history only as long as your registered account remains active.

If you decide to delete your profile, we provide direct, convenient mechanisms to ensure your data is permanently removed:

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your account by opening the mobile app, navigating to your profile header, choosing About, clicking the red Delete Account button, and submitting the confirmation form.
• Web Deletion Form: If you have already uninstalled the application, you do not need to download it again. Simply visit our hosted Account Deletion Steps Page, fill out the Web Deletion Request Form, and our database technicians will verify and wipe your records within 24 to 48 hours.
